At Nationwide, we understand choosing the right landscaping designer for your project is a big decision. That’s why we go through the design process with you. From start to finish.
Initial Consultation
This is an informal visit, for you and our design team to meet. Together we look at examples of our previous work, walk around your garden and outside spaces, discuss your ideas and requirements. We also discuss your budget and agree the fee structure. The initial consultation is free of charge.
Survey & Site Analysis
Once the client has accepted the design quotation, our designer or an independent surveyor will undertake a survey, depending on the size and complexity of the site. This involves measuring and taking photographs of the garden to make a detailed assessment of the site.
Outline Concept Plan
An outline plan is then drafted based on the client brief. The concept plan comprises the main features of the design drawn to scale. At this stage, ideas can still discussed and amendments made as necessary.
Final Presentation Plan
When you are happy with the design ideas, our landscape designer will send you a more detailed garden lay-out plan. The final plan usually includes mood images, suggested materials, detailed labelling and any construction specifications needed for our landscaper.
